Specialty Menus

At Healthy Living we have special diets that cater to the needs of many people. These days it is important to pay attention to what you eat. As one of the owners of Call Your Personal Chef I completely understand how it is important to eat a good diet, I have been Lactose Intolerant for 9 years. Below is information about different dietary needs that might be similar to your food consumption needs. I am not a doctor, nutritionist, or a registered dietitian but the information below is based off of reading many pages of information pertaining to the specific condition. I urge you to do your own research about your diet needs to fully understand what is said to be good or bad for you. None of the meals will cure you of anything but are designed to make you healthier which hopefully helps you live better and longer!

One of the most important things for a vegetarian diet is to get the vitamins and nutrients that are commonly found in a nonvegetarian diet. It is important to eat foods high in proteins, Calcium, Vitamins B-12, Zinc, Amino Acids, Iron, and Vitamin D to sustain a healthy vegetarian diet. Also stay away from high calorie and meals containing saturated fat. Studies have shown that vegetarians tend to have a lower risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and some types of cancer.
